Navitas Welcomes Four New Employees!

Tim Bensman

Tim Bensman

Tim is our new Director of Engineering & Construction. Tim bring 15 years of experience from a variety of company sizes and functions to his role as Director of Engineering & Construction. He has an extremely diverse portfolio of projects which include strategic initial program planning, project implementation, and ongoing facility operations. Tim has worked on projects from a wide variety of perspectives including general contractor, subcontractor, consultant, material supplier, owner’s representative, actual owner, site operator and facility manager.

Paul Jensen

Paul Jensen

Paul joins us as an Energy Engineer. Prior to joining the Navitas team, Paul worked as a building systems design engineer for a large engineering and construction company. In this role he worked on mechanical systems and HVAC systems for the federal government. Those mechanical systems include: compressed air, snow melt, and ground-source-heat-pumps. The HVAC systems include: boiler systems, air cooled chillers, ventilation system, radiant heating systems, hydronic systems, and VRF systems.

Bret Thomas

Bret Thomas

Bret joins us as a Senior Energy Engineer with more than 30 years experience as an energy engineer. Prior to joining the Navitas team, he worked for a major building system controls manufacturer. In this role he helped the company branch out into the energy performance contracting market. He has extensive experience in optimizing all building HVAC and lighting systems as well as infrastructure upgrades. Bret’s experience also includes working as an energy engineer for several large energy service companies. He is skilled at developing customized projects to meet the unique needs of each customer.

Kevin Brown

Kevin Brown

Kevin is our new Data Analytics Engineer. His educational training as a mechanical engineer has provided him with a solid understanding of equipment operation concepts and strong problem-solving abilities. Coupled with his work experience in the IoT and controls engineering fields has helped him gain the skills necessary to help the own achieve their optimization goals. Kevin’s varied automation and controls experience provides strong foundational knowledge in dealing with control systems of any kind.
